The food is good and tasty. The best dish is the palomilla steak. Place needs some renovation. Better seats, bigger bathroom. Service is average and not too good.
Service was not great. Servers seemed mad and not in the slightest bit happy or patient. We got beer battered shrimp and dolphin tenders. We couldn't finish our meals because we felt sick. They were so greasy!! Like they were cooked in old grease. One of us left with a stomach ache.
My dad is extremely hard to please, and jeeps raving about his Skirt Steak. My 16 year old sister doesn't like anything other than black bean soup (in regards to Cuban food), so she got a cup of black bean soup and the most massive Club Sandwich I've ever seen with fries. No one at our table or the tables around us were disappointed! If the locals love it, and the tourists say they'll come back the next day, you know it's great! The best food in The Keys, guaranteed!
This is a great Cuban restaurant in Islamorada. The service is fast, friendly, knowledgeable. The food, Ahhh the food!!! Fantastic, fresh grilled Yellow Tail Snapper, black beans and rice and fried sweet plantains. One of my favorite places for sure!
The best Cuban sandwich I've ever had in my life! The black bean soup is second to none! This is our last night here, and we just discovered this amazing little place. If you love Cuban food and want amazingly friendly and attentive service, I definitely recommend Habanos!
Traditional and authentic Cuban Cuisine with a consistently great wait staff. The skirt steak is generous and delicious. Great grouper. I personally love the shrimp stir fry! There's open style seating, and ocean views. Prices aren't cheap but you're paying for high quality local seafood and genuinely delicious food. Probably between $$ - $$$. They don't take reservations. They have a full bar and fabulous ice cream!
