Jeff was able to get us right in on a busy and beautiful Sunday morning. We rented a 24 ft Maco Center Counsel. Boat was clean and he provided us with anything we needed to make our day complete. He has fishing gear, coolers, snorkel gear, and even bait. We enjoyed our day on the water and boat ran great. Highly recommend. He's one the best priced boat rentals here and provides over the top good service.
So Jeff did the old "bait and switch" on my husband and I. My husband called 3-4 days in advance and made a reservation for a brand new boat for our 25th anniversary. My hubby followed up again the day before the rental and the morning of the rental to confirm that we were coming and the boat was available. Unfortunately, he rented the boat to someone else and saddle us with a "beater boat" that was dirty, poorly maintained and handled VERY poorly. The "free" cooler and snorkel gear needed to be thrown in the trash and in general...."this was not what we signed up for". We brought the boat back in less than two hours and of course he did not even bother to offer to refund us a penny. We weren't in the mood for a fight on our anniversary so we just let it go. If all you want is a basic boat for a little fishing close to shore or in the bay it's probably OK, however, if you were looking for a nice day on a clean, new boat with a stereo and other "creature comforts"....find someone else! In a nutshell, he should have told us before we got there that he had rented the boat, UNETHICAL!
