Lots to do, relaxing environment. We were there in December barely anyone there, had the whole beach area to ourselves. Once you get your tickets you can leave and come back later, open at sunrise to sunset. Friendly staff. Great place to go if you wanna get some sun and do a little scuba diving, the water is really shallow the first 20 ft before it gets deeper, my 5 year old loved it and 2 year old had a great time too.

This was a great place to windsurf back in the 80's and 90's. it is still a great park to relax in and watch the sunset.
Okay place. Not dog friendly, it just has a dog park section. The dog park is in the center of the park, far away from the water and with just a few trees for shade. We went with our dog thinking that we would get some place for the dog to hangout while the family enjoy the park for which we payed $8, but we couldn't do both at the same time. The dog cannot even be on a leash by us on the beach. The park is otherwise well kept and clean.
