Choosing Caribbean Catering for our wedding caterer/decorator/everything was the best choice we could've made! Debbie had every decoration we wanted and made my pinterest vision come to life.
...Be careful, signing a contract with Debbie allows her to act as she wants with the end result being that she gets paid one way or another...
Our initial thought of this company was great, we met with them, chose our food items, set our price, and signed the contract (This was about 8 months prior to the wedding). Due to some unforeseen changes (pretty common in weddings, I would say), our request and details needed to be adjusted. Debbie, specifically, was UN-able to handle these adjustments. The changes in the price due to the adjustments seemed irrational, and because of this, we asked if we could go over the numbers again, requesting an itemized list. This not only seems like a reasonable request (especially when you are talking about spending THOUSANDS of dollars) but it seems like a simple one.
Without writing a review that is so lengthy it detours you from reading it, here it is plain and simple:
Amazing food & work! Debbie is super sweet, she took the time to even show us 3 venues next store to her stop. If you need catering in the keys, this is the BEST choice! I would highly recommend!

We had a wonderful experience with Caribbean Catering and I was shocked to notice her low score on Google reviews; a friend pointed it out to me after I recommended them. I made a call to Debbie at Caribbean Catering and asked her why she had been trashed in reviews and she brought to my attention that neither of the parties who reviewed her negatively did a wedding with her!! The negative reviews are from customers who wanted contracts changed months after they were originally signed or didn't sign a contract and were upset when they lost their date. Additionally! Caribbean Catering works well with many properties in the Islamorada area and is able to do events at estates where she has exclusives!! Properties I highly recommend looking at.
Not only did Debbie refuse to provide said list, but she became very defensive and rude when I wasn't willing to accept that answer. The cherry on top was when my mom called a day later to diffuse the tension between us, and ended up getting YELLED at.
...Oh...and she refused to refund the deposit of $500 because she didn't deem her actions and disrespect as something that allowed us to opt out of the contract (Mind you, we are still 4 months from our wedding). Wait, What?

What kind of owner not only argues about providing an itemized list but YELLS at a customer. It was very disrespectful and eye-opening how little she cares about her customers.
Terrible experience! Went back and forth planning to make sure everything was correct with the rentals to the day coordinator. Got quote to find out that my gratuity was $1,200 asked about it before I put deposit down to find out I was about to be over charged terribly. After that got the revised quote with such a vital mistake looked over quote to make sure things lined up only to contact one of the two people you communicate with via e-mail to find out they gave my date away with ease with not even a simple e-mail saying they were doing so. Then after I told them I was a dissatisfied customer they wrote back a very condescending e-mail with bolded text with not the least bit of empathy knowing my wedding was only months away.
