I have been coming here for a few years. I have seen both Dr. Schiff and Ms. Mendoza for procedures. Dr. Schiff is wonderful and Ms. Mendoza is a true artist in what she does. The staff there is just great too. I cannot say enough good things about them all.
I saw Dr. Schiff there. He was great and his nurse assistant were as good as it gets. My problem was how I was lied to by the office staff. They confirmed in advance that my insurance was accepted as in network. Deborah told me over a month in advance as I usually used another Dr. for annual dermatological exams but decided to use this practice because my minor son was referred there because his insurance was accepted there. As it turned out, Deborah made a mistake and I wasn't covered there. She charged me full price and sneakily insulted my Obama care coverage as being liars as she openly revealed my personal information out loud as she allowed other patients to chime in. She said that is just how Obama care is. They tell you one thing and do another. I went directly home and called my Cigna. They told me they were not in network with this Dr. I never would have incurred a charge for full out of pocket with this Dr since my regular Dermatologist was in network. I cancelled the check that I paid for the visit in full $345.00 approx. as I was mortified by the treatment and surprise since I thought my in network cost was going to be $60.00. It was this clerks error. My insurance co. was good enough to override and pay as an in network charge. I paid my $60.00 in network immediately following identifying the mixup and I still receive bills from this practice charging me for the insufficient funds that were incurred by them from their incompetent secretary who refuses to take responsibility. They still solicit me to make an appointment with them and bill me for a bill I have disputed. You can't get through to their billing office. Just another Robo operation trying to hustle the last 1/100th of 1 cent out of you, harrassing you even though they were 200% percent at fault.
